We live surrounded by systems.

Technology. Work. Money. Organizations. Media. Culture. Even the habits and assumptions we build for ourselves.

Most of the time, we interact with those systems without stopping to ask how they work, what incentives shape them, or why they produce the outcomes they do.

I have spent nearly three decades working in technology and cybersecurity, where questioning assumptions, following evidence, understanding dependencies, and finding failure points are part of solving the problem.

Jason’s Fuse takes that same way of thinking outside the network.

Look for the dependencies, incentives, constraints, feedback loops, and unintended consequences behind the obvious explanation.

BUILD INDEPENDENCE

Learn useful skills. Understand your tools. Build resilience. Independence is not isolation. It is having options.

FOLLOW THE OUTCOME

Intent matters. Results matter more. Follow the evidence and understand what actually happened before deciding what it means.
